Code of Conduct
Migopolis only works because people are decent to each other. The old game had a chat filter so brutal it choked normal conversation. We went the other way. Fewer rules, taken seriously.
- Be kind. Treat everyone the way you'd want a new player to treat you on your first day. This is a hangout, not a battleground.
- No harassment, hate, or bullying. Going after someone for who they are, or piling on, gets you removed. No warnings needed for the serious stuff.
- Keep it safe for everyone. Migopolis is for ages 13 and up. No sexual content, no grooming, no sharing private information, yours or anyone else's.
- Play fair. No cheating, no exploiting bugs for coins, no impersonating staff. The economy is server-side and audited, so it's not worth trying anyway.
- Speak like a human. Swearing in passing is fine, we're not the dial-up chat filter. Aiming it at people is not.
How to report
Every message has a report button, and you can block anyone instantly. Reports land in a real moderation queue that a human reviews. Serious cases are actioned fast, and repeat offenders don't get to come back.
What happens if you break it
Depending on what you did, that's a quiet word, a temporary mute, or a removal. We'd always rather keep someone in the town than lose them, but never at the cost of everyone else's day.
